COURSE DESCRIPTION: The main purpose of this course is to provide students with information on Entrepreneurship and Innovation so that they can compare the information received from experienced and knowledgeable business people with theoretical information and gain the ability to interpret it.

COURSE PURPOSE: At the end of this course, students are expected to gain information on the following topics:
* Develop group work skills
* Develop brainstorming skills
* Obtain and interpret basic information on entrepreneurship and innovation

COURSE CONTENT: Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship concepts, entrepreneurial personality traits, creative thinking styles, techniques that support and develop creativity, obstacles to creativity, internal and external factors affecting entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship concepts, strategic management and planning, business establishment alternatives, business plan and its basic elements.

SUCCESS EVALUATION: In the end-of-term success evaluations of students, the percentages written against the following criteria will be calculated.

* Conference participation 18%
* Presentation 42%
* Final Exam 40%
COURSE RULES:
* All students registered for the course must register for the course on Moodle as soon as possible.

* Try not to be more than 10 minutes late for the course. However, if you are late for reasons beyond your control, enter the class quietly instead of waiting outside. Never make being late for the course a habit.

* Listen carefully to the course, take notes and participate in the course.

* Do not talk to each other or use your phones during the course. Phones must be turned off during the course.

* You must ask permission from the instructor responsible for the course to record audio or take photos during the course.

* Attendance at the conferences of speakers invited to the course is mandatory and 3% points will be taken from each conference participation. The content of the conferences will be evaluated later in exams and presentations.
RIGHT TO CHANGE: The instructor has the right to make changes to any part of the course summary given above, if deemed necessary. In such a case, students will be informed.
