This course is designed to help senior/junior students to tackle the design and development of new artifact, system, process and/or technology by carefully planning and executing the engineering design process.
The main objective of this course is to
- give a brief insight for understanding the systems engineering and related concepts,
- explore system design development and qualification through systems engineering processes,
- familiarize the students with the methods, tools and procedures used in systems engineering
- encourage them to combine the systems engineering dicipline with design procedures
- Explore applications of systems engineering in aerospace projects.
