A principal objective of this course is to describe modern strategies for the design of chemical products and processes, with a systematic approach.
Thermodynamics, momentum, heat and mass transfer, and chemical reaction kinetics principles will be utilized to create chemical products and processes that satisfy societal needs while returning a profit.
Information required to simulate an equipment, product or process will be given, as are the basics of using a process simulator.
