The course introduces Nanotechnology concepts; fundamentals, applications, and novel materials. The course has an interdisciplinary approach introducing students’ new technologies in relation to real life industry applications. A project will be conducted with a multidisciplinary team composed of students from different departments. 

Course assumes that students have no previous knowledge. Course will provide student from different disciplines with:

1.       Basic knowledge on nanotechnology fundamentals

2.       Properties of nanomaterials

3.       Synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials

4.       Current trends and future overview of nanotechnology
