Objectives                  :

-          To realize unique challenges of Project Management (PM) in aviation industry, 

-          To introduce basic standards and definitions,

-          To introduce tools and techniques to manage projects,

-          To underline the importance of leadership style and team work for successful PM,

-          To investigate aviation PM case studies.

Expected Outcomes :

-          To be able to embrace basic concepts and industry standards of PM,  

-          To be able to understand and utilize PM principles, phases and processes.

Grading                      : Homework %20, Midterm %30, Final %50

Homework                 : Homeworks should be handed in paper at the classroom.

Midterm Exam           : One page, one-sided, hand written cheat sheet is allowed. No photocopy or printer output will be allowed. Cheat sheet is to be evaluated as well (20 points over 100 points).

Final Exam                 : One page, two-sided, hand written cheat sheet is allowed. No photocopy or printer output will be allowed. Cheat sheet is to be evaluated as well (20 points over 100 points).
