The course is designed to familiarize students with the European Union including its history, institutions and policies, laws, and the translation of EU legal acts, and core EU terminology.
Students will develop the ability to analyse EU legal acts for translation purposes, employ EU-specific terminology accurately, and apply effective methods for translating the EU texts.
