In this course, main concepts for simulation modeling and analysis of engineering systems will be reviewed. Input and output analysis phase of a simulation study will be discussed in detail. Upon successful completion of this course, you are expected to be able to design and analyze simulation experiments with the aim of developing solutions to complex engineering systems. In specific, you will learn the concepts of simulation. This course will contribute to the program objectives of this multi-disciplinary PhD Program by means of serving the indispensable tool of advanced statistics to young researcher candidates and broadening their point of view in terms of modeling and analysis.
