This course intends to introduce mechatronic systems. Several different mechatronic systems will be analyzed. Data acquisition concepts will be studied. Rapid prototyping of control systems and PC based real-time control will be discussed.
Students learn; Data acquisition, signals, signal conditioning, actuators and drive characteristics, mathematical modeling, controller design, rapid prototyping of control systems and PC based control. Students will be able to approach complex problems in system engineering framework.
