This is an introductory course in Single Variable Complex Analysis.
We will start from the very beginning; i.e. from a rigorous definition of the set of complex numbers along with the operations (addition, multiplication, inverse of a nonzero complex number, conjugation etc.) it is equipped with. We then look at complex functions and their derivatives, in particular, we study analytic functions. The principle aim of this course is to learn (contour) integration of complex functions and related theorems with techniques of computations. We will use them to evaluate some (real) improper integrals etc. Proofs of many of the theorems and facts will be done in class as well.
